An “agent” is a small program that can take a few steps on its own: read a mail, sort it, open a ticket, ping someone. Used well, it kills the busywork. Used like a magician, it invents a purchase order at 2 a.m.

Our rule, written down: the model proposes, the workflow carries, a named role posts. If a vendor cannot show you that loop in your tools (not in theirs), they are selling a demo.
