First IT Nation. The hallway was the useful part.

This was a first IT Nation. The event did what it said: innovation, conversations that were actually about the work, and a clearer picture of what the ConnectWise platform can carry for a shop like GOX.
A room for people who run a desk.
IT Nation is where the managed-services community meets. Keynotes, breakouts, then the hallway. Every block had something you could take home. The useful part, for us, was standing next to people who also pick up the phone when a dock drops off the air.
What we brought back.
Platform work is speeding up. ConnectWise is putting real weight on AI-driven automation. For a support desk, that can mean less time on the repetitive ticket and more time on the client who needs a person. The community is still the asset. Hallway talk, a drink after, the same Tuesday problem told by someone from another province. Growth is not a slogan in that room. Small shops scaling, larger ones cleaning up. The energy is to keep improving the week.
Staying close to the ecosystem is part of the job: events, peers, the platform as it actually ships. That is how a client in Mauricie gets a desk that still knows the tool in 2026. Huge thanks to Sylvain Caron for the invitation. It will not be the last.
