A call from the desk, not a stalled line
The stuck work
Three sites, one flat network, backups nobody had restored. Fortinet was a quote. Ubiquiti was a showroom AP in the office and nothing on the dock.
What we built
Segmentation, a controller someone on the desk can open, Fortinet as operations not a monument, and a surveillance team that watches the environment during the work week instead of waiting for the complaint. The restore was tested, not promised.
What changed
The dock stays on the air. The copilot cannot wander into CNC. When a link drifts between 8 and 5, the plant hears from us first.
